SIOUX FALLS, HARRISBURG, PIERRE, and TEA, S.D. and SIOUX CITY, IA (Dakota News Now) -The top 3 teams in boys “AA” picked up impressive wins Tuesday night. #1 Washington got 19 points from Akok Aguer (including a monster slam) and Mikele Kambalo as they dominated Lincoln 74-49. Matthew Mors had 28 points as Yankton went to Sioux City and beat SC East 72-59, snapping a 6-game win streak for the Black Raiders. And Connor geddes had 18 and Blaze Lubbers 17 points as #3 Harrisburg beat Western Christian 67-48.

In Class “A” 5th-ranked Vermillion came to Tea Area and picked up a 73-56 win as Jacob Dobney led the way with 23 points.

In girls hoops, #2AA Harrisburg also beat Western Christian on their home floor 56-42 as Brecli Honner had 22 points for the Tigers. And the 3rd-ranked O’Gorman Knights went to Pierre where Izzy Moore helped them build a big half-time lead that continued to grow after intermission as the defending state champs won 58-21 over the Governors.
