SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -- After some record lows this morning, we’re on the fast track to warmer temperatures for Friday and for the weekend! Overnight lows tonight will be in the 30′s and then we’ll return to the upper 60′s to the lower 70′s for Friday. Due to the breezy conditions sticking around, wildfire concerns will remain even through the end of the week.

As we head into the weekend, sunshine will stick around for Saturday and the good news is that the wind will finally die down. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70′s everywhere to near 80 on Saturday and then on Easter Sunday we’ll all get back into the lower 80′s. Those warmer temperatures and sunshine will last through this upcoming Monday. If you plan on doing any traveling this Easter weekend, it’ll be easy going.

We’re tracking some rain chances for next Tuesday and Wednesday as temperatures will slowly dip into the 70′s and eventually the 60′s. A cold front will bring even cooler temperatures for the end of next week as they fall into the 50′s for highs and lower to mid 30′s for overnight lows. More sunshine will be back for the end of next week.
