SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A woman is facing charges after police say she pointed a gun at others during an altercation outside a Sioux Falls home.

Thirty-nine-year-old Amanda Rae Moeller of Steen, Minn. was arrested Monday afternoon, according to police spokesperson Sam Clemens.

Investigators say two cars pulled up in front of a house on W. 10th Street near Grange Avenue and got into a confrontation with another group of people. Clemens said the altercation was sparked by past issues between juveniles from the two groups.

Clemens said at some point during the altercation, Moeller, who was in one of the cars, pulled out a gun and pointed it at people inside the house. Police were called to the scene.

Officers found a gun inside Moeller’s vehicle, Clemens said. She was arrested for aggravated assault.

Clemens said police could not release any further details about the incident because juveniles were involved.
