SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Dell Rapids won the Class “B” State title in High School baseball last night. The Quarriers got better and better as the season progressed is what MVP Landon Reusink told us last night after belting this no-doubt 2-run HR to seal the 9-2 win over West Central.

And it’s extra exciting for this team because they are still very young... So how were they able to win a state title? Tournament MVP Landon Reusink says, ”Really just not getting too high or too low. We’ve got a really young team which we’ll come back next year. We’re really young though, a couple of freshmen, a lot of sophomores starting. Just keeping our head in it in the playoffs.”

The Quarriers seemed destined to win after this walk-off single in Kaeden Eastman to beat Dakota Valley 1-0 in a thrilling semi-final game right before the championship.
