Police searching for suspect in reported shootout in north Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Sioux Falls Police have released photos of the suspect in a reported shootout early Monday.
Police say officers responded to gunshots in the area of 970 N. Cliff Avenue at around 1 am. Through the preliminary investigation, police determined a shootout between two parties in the area occurred. 11 shots in total were fired with property and several vehicles receiving damage, police say.
On Wednesday, police released two photos of a suspect in the investigation. Police say the man fired a gun several times at people inside a car. Authorities ask anyone who recognizes the man to call CrimeStoppers 367-7007.

Police are investigating a reported shootout between two parties in north Sioux Falls overnight.
Sioux Falls Police say officers were called to the area of 970 N. Cliff Avenue for gunshots at around 1 am Monday. Police say there was a dispute between two parties at an apartment in the area. One of the parties got into their car to leave when a person from the other party began firing at the vehicle. Police say the party in the vehicle returned fire.
Police say around 11 shots were fired with property and several vehicles receiving damage. Minor injuries due to broken glass were reported.
One person is in custody but police did not release any details. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
