SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Country music star Reba McEntire says she was listed as a special guest for a political fundraising event for Gov. Noem without her permission.

A fundraiser event is being held for Gov. Noem in Montana this weekend. The barbeque event is raising money for Gov. Noem’s reelection. Special guests are listed on a flyer for the event, including Reba McEntire.

Reba McEntire posted on Facebook Thursday night that the flyer was circulated without her permission. Reba says she told organizers that she had no plans to attend the event because she does not get involved with politics. Reba’s post has gained a lot of reaction from fans.

The event is scheduled for Sunday beginning at 4:30 pm in Gallatin Gateway, Montana.
