ABERDEEN, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Wings resume the playoffs Friday night at Bismarck. Scott Langer’s team won the first two game of the best of 5 series Friday and Saturday night at The Odde and need only one more win to advance in the Robertson Cup Playoffs.

The defending champs thanks to COVID 19, have their best team ever after a record-setting regular season. But Scott knows that doesn’t matter once the second season starts. ”I just think that our game can get fine-tuned a little bit. You know with the length of the season sometimes your habits can tend to go the wrong way. Against Bismarck they’re a team that can score, they have good offense, they have good specialty teams and we’re going to have to be on our game. And we’re going to have to be ready to go from the drop of the puck,” says Langer.

Games 3 and 4 are in Bismarck and game 5 if necessary would be back in Aberdeen next Monday. The Wings also took a 2-0 lead over Minot before getting pushed to a 5th and deciding game that went to overtime.
