SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -- We are going to see plenty of sunshine for our Friday, and it is going to be another warm day. Highs will range from the upper 80s in the north to the low 90s in southern parts of the region. The wind will pick up a little in the north. We could see wind gusts in between 25 and 30 mph for some.

Over the weekend, it’s looking like it should be pretty nice! We’ll have plenty of sunshine for most of Saturday with some clouds building in late afternoon into the evening. Highs will be in the mid 80s. Late Saturday night into early Sunday morning, we’ll see a chance for some thunderstorms to move through the region. The risk of severe weather will be low. Any leftover storms should end Sunday morning and we’ll clear out for Father’s Day. We’ll have highs in the low to mid 80s.

Some much cooler air will settle into the region early next week. By Monday, some of us will be stuck in the 60s for highs! By Tuesday, most should warm back into the 70s. It looks like the 80s will be back for highs by the middle of next week. We’ll be staying fairly dry with just a couple slight chances of rain next Friday and over that next weekend.
