SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - Two people are okay after their car went into the ditch in Southeast Sioux Falls Tuesday morning.

Sioux Falls Fire Rescue and Sioux Falls Police responded to the crash around 7:30 AM at the intersection of 57th Street and Six Mile Road.

Dakota News Now’s Scott Engen talked to the woman driving the car. She told Engen the sun got in her eyes and that caused her to go off the road. The car went into a culvert with some shallow standing water.

Rescue crews had to take the window out of the car to get her and her boyfriend out. They both are okay.
