The Sioux Falls Arc of Dreams to shine purple for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Sioux Falls Arc of Dreams will shine purple for National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, sponsored by the Department of Justice’s Office for Victims of Crime, honors the victims’ rights movement and highlights the current needs of victims and support groups.

The event is organized by Marsy’s Law for South Dakota, a group advocating for crime victims’ rights and responsible for the passage of Amendment S, which added a Crime Victims’ Bill of Rights to the state constitution.

In honor of the week, the Arch of Dreams will shine purple from April 6 until April 12, 2025.
