Harrisburg’s Emilee Boyer is excited to see what transfer portal brings
Division II Softball Player of the Year at West Texas A&M
HARRISBURG, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -Harrisburg native Emilee Boyer was recently named Division II Softball Player of the Year. We told you about her incredible stats the last 3 years when the West Texas A&M Junior was honored.
As a result, she’s decided to take her game to a higher level in her senior season. We talked about it today on Calling All Sports.
Emilee Boyer, D-II PLayer of the Year says, “I just felt like I was at a point where I was ready to explore something new and it’s my last year. I thought this was a perfect opportunity to try something new like I said and it’s something I’ll never get back. So I took that leap of faith and yes I entered the transfer portal. I’m hoping to go out with a bang my senior year and just play on the highest stage of Division One softball I hope. So that was kind of my approach with things.”
Emilee has already heard from several big-time Division One schools. She will be taking her time making this important decision.
