Nebraska Volleyball fans pack Sanford Pentagon
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - To say Nebraska Volleyball fans are excited to watch the Cornhuskers at any time is an understatement.
The team made a trip to Sioux Falls and the Sanford Pentagon on Saturday to begin their spring schedule, taking on Iowa State.
It helps that Senior setter Bergen Reilly is coming home, and fans said it’s a dream having the team here, which often sells out any venue that they play in.
“We love to have Nebraska volleyball here, especially to see some local girls that are taking part in it,” said fan Candice Menke.
“We’re huge Nebraska fans. My husband went to Nebraska. We have two boys that are going to Nebraska. We’re big Bergen Reilly fans. We love to see Nebraska here to come play,” said fan Sarah Hueners.
Dakota News Now’s Joseph Lemelin will have highlights from the match on Dakota News Now at 9:00 and 10:00, and later on DakotaNewsNow.com.
