Busy night in Legion Baseball Region games around South Dakota
Highlights from games in Sioux Falls, and Rapid City
SIOUX FALLS and RAPID CITY, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -It was a busy day/night in both classes of Legion Baseball on Wednesday in South Dakota.
In Class A which is all best of 3 series to make the state tournament in Rapid City, SF West looked like one of the teams to beat with a 10-0 win over Huron at Harmodon Park.
In Rapid City, Post 320 hosted Mitchell in the first game Wednesday night with the final 2 games on Thursday.
And in Class B at Ronken Field, Dell Rapids rallied past Colton to win 7-4 by scoring 3 runs in their final at-bat. Matt Hemme blasted a 2-run HR for Colton in the loss.
That means someone will have to beat Dells twice on Thursday to advance to the State B Tournament in Madison starting next Thursday.
