Anndrea Anderson is the evening weeknight anchor for Dakota News Now.
Anndrea was born and raised in northern California and made the Midwest her home in 2015 with a move to Sioux Falls.
Prior to joining Dakota News Now, Anndrea worked at KDLT News in Sioux Falls where she served in a number of roles including weekend anchor, multimedia journalist, and News Director. She started her broadcasting career in Scottsbluff, Nebraska after earning her degree in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
Anndrea was promoted to weeknight anchor in August 2021 after serving as an Executive Producer at Dakota News Now since January 2020.
A few fun facts about Anndrea: she holds a black belt in Karate, loves extremely spicy foods, and as a self-proclaimed “Tetris Master,” welcomes anyone to challenger her in a game of Tetris!
