Baylee Peterson started out part-time on the Dakota News Now Team as a weekend reporter for several months covering various stories in the Sioux Falls region while commuting from Brookings. She joined as a full-time multimedia journalist in the spring of 2022.
Prior to Dakota News Now, Baylee was born and raised near Hutchinson, Minn., where she enjoyed spending time on the lakes with her family and friends.
Baylee received a bachelor's degree from South Dakota State University in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Science and Marketing.
She has a passion for sharing stories and exploring what the community has to offer.
