2020 Minnesota State Fair canceled due to COVID-19
The Minnesota State Fair board announced Friday morning the 2020 fair would be canceled due to COVID-19 concerns.
KSTP-TV reports this marks the sixth time the Great Minnesota Get-Together has been canceled.
Last month, board members said they were not considering a shorter schedule or any restrictions.
The annual, 12-day tradition in August typically brings in more than 2 million visitors, which is a concern this year, state officials said.
