Days after making the trek down to Atlanta, Georgia, 19-year-old Morgan Bauer quit communicating with friends and family. One year later, the search for her continues with very few leads.

"I just need as much help as possible because I can't do this by myself," says Sherri Sichmeller, Bauer's mother.

The long process of hoping and waiting to hear from her daughter hasn't been easy.

"It's hard getting the phone calls and people texting me or messaging me that my daughter's dead. Or getting phone calls from the police department saying that they need dental records or that they found a body."

Sichmeller has taken the high road against all of the negativity surrounding the case. She feels like this has made her a more guarded person towards others and keeps to herself a little more.

She just wants her daughter to know that everything that's happened in the past year doesn't matter.

"If you're still here, just call somebody... anybody."

Sichmeller hopes the communities of Aberdeen and Atlanta continue to share Morgan's pictures. She hopes everyone will remember that she's still missing and hopefully one day will be found.
