Animal Control looking for dog that bit boy at elementary school

Animal Control is looking for a dog that bit a boy at a Sioux Falls elementary school.
Authorities said the incident happened Sunday at Horace Mann Elementary School on East 26th Street.
A 9-year-old boy was playing basketball when he asked to pet a golden retriever with a red collar that was being walked on a leash by a blonde teenage girl.
Authorities said the dog bit the boy on the hand.
Animal Control needs to identify the dog in this incident to verify its vaccinations. Anyone with information is asked to call Animal Control at 367-7000.
