UPDATE: Man injured in Sioux Falls crash dies from injuries

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The man injured in a two-vehicle crash in Sioux Falls earlier this week has died from his injuries.

Police identified the victim as 60-year-old Dale Alan Rollag of Sioux Falls.

Rollag was driving a car that was involved in a crash with a pickup on Tuesday afternoon on S. Cliff Avenue. The driver of the pickup was also injured.

Police spokesperson Officer Sam Clemens said Thursday that police are still reconstructing the scene to determine what led up to the accident.

A 60-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries following a rollover crash in Sioux Falls on Tuesday.

Police say just before 2 pm a 2015 Ford F150 driven by a 22-year-old and a 2007 Mazda 3, driven by the 60-year-old, struck each other near Cliff Avenue and 61st Street. Police say the crash caused at least one vehicle to roll over and one of the drivers to be ejected.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital.

Authorities closed Cliff Avenue from 57th Street to 62nd for four hours to clear debris.

The investigation of the crash is ongoing.
