Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls dedicated a new home Thursday, but this one was not like many others.

It was built by students and teachers at the Career and Technical Education Academy and finished on-site by volunteers and the family that will call it home.

Habitat organizers said it was true community effort.

Since its inception in 1989, Habitat Sioux Falls has built or rehabilitated 157 homes for low-income families.
