Cattlemen's Prime Time Gala raises $228k for Feeding South Dakota
The 5th annual South Dakota Cattlemen’s Foundation Prime Time Gala raised $228,602 for Feeding South Dakota Saturday night.
The massive check was presented during the country concert at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
Since the event began in 2014, it has raised $966,110 for Feeding South Dakota.
The money donated is used to purchase beef for people in need all over South Dakota.
The Cattlemen's Foundation President Ryan Eichler says cattle producers in the state are not only proud of their product but also grateful to be able to continue to help the people in the state who need it most.
"They take a tremendous amount of pride, not only producing the best beef in the world, but also being able to give back to the people in our home state that need it so much.
