UPDATE: Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office arrests Michigan man in I-90 incident

Sgt. Zachary Cegelske with the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office released more information regarding the incident on I-90. He said Edward Rogers III has been arrested for domestic aggravated assault, possession of controlled substance, violation of a protection order and a warrant as a result of the incident. Rogers is 44 years old from Jackson, MI.

According to the Department of Corrections website in Michigan, Rogers was discharged in October of 2018 from prison. He served multiple years for fleeing police.

The victim in the situation on I-90 was treated and released from the hospital.


Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault that took place along I-90 between Humboldt and Hartford.

The sheriff's office responded to a call at 8:35 a.m. Friday along I-90 mile marker 382 and found a man and a woman had both suffered injuries.

Authorities said both victims were treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
