The South Dakota Democratic Party is calling for State Republican Representative Lynne DiSanto to apologize for a controversial Facebook post.
It depicts a car hitting protesters under the caption "All Lives Splatter." She shared the image on September 7, less than one month after a driver plowed through a crowd of counter-protesters at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, killing one woman.
Rep. DiSanto has since deleted the post, but has yet to comment on the controversy.
