Habitat for Humanity breaks ground for new Sioux Falls home, Tuesday
Another deserving family is on their way to become homeowners thanks to builders and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity.
The Osman Family broke ground on their property in northwest Sioux Falls, Tuesday afternoon. The single mother and four children have lived in town for seven years.
While the groundbreaking is exciting, everyone is looking forward to the dedication day once construction is complete.
"You get to see the look on their faces, the excitement on their face. That this is their new home where they're gonna have their kids and their holidays and all the memories that are going to be made," Joe Gannon said.
The house is a joint effort by Wells Fargo, Kum'N'Go, Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church and countless volunteers.
