Hack Sioux Falls is helping kids improve their electronic problem solving skills with new 90-day challenges.
Saturday, leaders with Code Bootcamp held a workshop to help kids ages nine through 18 learn about LED strips.
It's just one of the electronic workshops these kids can attend over the 90-day challenge as they work to complete the real world challenge.
"They're really learning how to write code, how to work with hardware, work with software, how he two interact with each other, how circuits work and how electronics work," Will Bushee said.
Some of the challenges include how to remotely turn off a light over the internet or transmit messages across the room wirelessly, which are some big real world challenges that these leaders say kid are capable of answering or building.
