Huron Police searching for truck stop robbery suspect

Huron Police say they are looking for a man who robbed a store at a truck stop early Thursday morning.

Police said a man walked into the West Park Truck Stop Corner Pantry #25 around 12:20 a.m. and demanded the store's money from an employee, and he allegedly pointed an unknown object at her though his sweatshirt pocket.

The suspect then put the cash in a bag and took off, dropping some money in the parking lot as he ran.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, who was wearing a maroon hoodie, red bandanna, sunglasses and gloves at the time of the robbery.

Police said the man is considered dangerous and could be armed with a weapon. No one should confront the man if seen.
