Lake Alvin reopens for swimming

Lake Alvin, located outside of Harrisburg, has reopened for swimming.
The swim beach closed June 29, but new beach water samples taken Thursday show a healthy level of bacteria in the water.
The beach is currently open and ready for swimmers, anglers and other recreators.
