Man who scaled Trump Tower in New York caught by authorities

Police in New York City caught the man attempting to scale the Trump Tower Wednesday afternoon.

ABC News reports that officers pulled the man inside through a window on the 21st floor around 6:35 p.m.

He scaled the building for over two hours using five suction cups.

Police are unsure why the man decided to climb the 68-story building.

Authorities are trying to stop a man from scaling the side of Trump Tower in New York City.

ABC News reported that crowds began to form on Madison Avenue outside the 68-story building to watch the man using five suction cups.

Authorities attempted to stop the man by breaking windows and have deployed airbags at the bottom of the tower in case the climber would fall.
