Man sentenced for sexual contact with girls at in-home day care
A Sioux Falls man who pleaded
to inappropriately touching girls has been sentenced.
A judge on Monday ordered 76-year-old David Hirsch to serve 15 years in the state penitentiary, the maximum sentence. He also has to register as a sex offender.
His charges stem from incidents involving three girls over a period of several years at a Sioux Falls in-home day care.
That day care was run by his wife and closed in 2017.
The girls were between the ages of four and nine at the time on the assaults.
