Show host and producer Mike Rowe visited a number of places in South Dakota on Thursday to promote technical education.
Rowe is best known as the “dirtiest man on TV,” a title he earned on the hit TV series "Dirty Jobs."
He came to the Mt. Rushmore State as part of "A New Day in Tech Ed" to help grow awareness for the skilled labor shortage in the state and across the Midwest, including positions in construction, automotive, welding and nursing.
Rowe toured and spoke with people at Midwest Railcar in Brandon, Lake Area Tech in Watertown, the Career & Technical Education Academy and Southeast Tech in Sioux Falls.
