Some people in Sioux Falls got their heads shaved on Wednesday to raise money for childhood cancer research.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation head-shaving event was held at the 41st Street Pizza Ranch in Sioux Falls with a goal of raising $100,000.
Seventy brave participants went bald to support the foundation's mission to take childhood back from cancer.
"We try to keep this event as light-hearted as we can for such a serious cause, it's about the kids," Rob Keisacker said. "We do this for the kids, we shave our heads to stand in solidarity for children with cancer,"
The event also included a face painting and coloring station. This is the twelfth year the event has been held in Sioux Falls.
