Woman arrested after early morning stabbing in Sioux Falls

UPDATE, 10:35 a.m.

A Sioux Falls woman is facing charges after police she stabbed a man at an apartment in western Sioux Falls.

Thirty-five-year-old Lauren Bordeaux-Berg was arrested around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Sam Clemens said Bordeaux-Berg got involved in an argument with a man and a woman in an apartment on Ebenezer Avenue near 18th Street. She eventually grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the man in the abdomen.

Bordeaux-Berg then confronted the woman, but the wounded man broke up the fight.

Police arrived and arrested Bordeaux-Berg on aggravated assault and simple assault charges.

Clemens said the man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.


Authorities are investigating an early morning stabbing in western Sioux Falls.

The stabbing took place around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday on Ebenezer Avenue near 18th Street, according to police spokesperson Sam Clemens.
