Police have released images of a suspect they say robbed a woman at knifepoint outside a Sioux Falls grocery store.
The robbery happened Monday at the Hy-Vee on 57th Street and Cliff Avenue.
Police say the woman was leaving the store when a man armed with a knife approached her and demanded her purse. The suspect lunged at the woman with the knife, knocking the woman to the ground.
After a brief struggle, he took the purse and ran off. The woman was not injured.
The victim was not able to get a good look at the suspect, but police say he may have headed towards a nearby apartment complex.
On Wednesday, police released a picture they say shows the suspect running away. Another image showed a Dallas Cowboys sweatshirt the suspect allegedly was wearing and dropped nearby.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 605-367-7007.
