Red Cross opens shelter for Sioux Falls storm victims

The Red Cross has opened a shelter for people who were displaced by a powerful storm that hit Sioux Falls.
The shelter is at the armory on the Sioux Empire Fairgrounds, according to Sioux Falls Fire Rescue. Doors opened at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday
A strong storm hit Sioux Falls late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. KSFY News photographers have spotted several heavily-damaged homes around the city.
