Communities all over the world are celebrating the International Day of Peace.
People gathered in Sioux Falls to show that the world should come together for justice and peace.
Pax Christi South Dakota put on an event where people could gather and pray Wednesday morning in Sertoma Park.
Josh Grode Wolters is a member of Pax Christi and he helped put on the event. "There are a lot of things that have contributed to people becoming more and more divided," Wotlers said. "This is a chance for us to come together and work for peace."
The group that gathered sang songs, prayed and shared stories from people affected by sustainable development goals thought up by the United Nations.
