'Shark Tank' star to speak in Sioux Falls

The Sioux Falls Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has announced one of the stars of ABC's "Shark Tank" as the featured speaker for its 2019 Visitor Industry Annual Luncheon.

Daymond John has also been appointed a Presidential Ambassador of Global Entrepreneurship, and he is the author of two New York Times Best-Selling books: "Rise and Grind" in 2018 and "The Power of Broke" in 2016, which also won the 2017 NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Literary Work – Instructional.”

The CVB said John is one of the most sought-after branding and marketing experts in the country, and known around the world as “The People’s Shark.”

The CVB Visitor Industry Annual Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center.
