UPDATE 3:30 PM:

The Sioux Falls Police Department has released surveillance video of a man suspected of trying to rob a business Tuesday night at knifepoint.

He took off with no money after a clerk showed her pepper spray.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 605-367-7000 or Crime Stoppers at 605-367-7007.

Authorities are looking for a man they say robbed a Sioux Falls business at knifepoint.

According to Sgt. Martin Hoffman, a man walked into a business in the area of West 22nd Street and South Minnesota Avenue and demanded money.

He walked around the store then pulled a knife. Police said the clerk showed the suspect her pepper spray, and he took off without any money.

It happened at about 10:55 p.m. Tuesday.

The employee was not injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as being in his mid-30s, about 5'6" tall with shaggy black hair and wearing a blue hoodie, jeans and black shoes with white trim.
