Sioux Falls brewery helps California's Camp Fire victims
Victims of California’s deadliest and most destructive wildfire are still trying to piece their lives back together.
Saturday Miner Brewing Company in Sioux Falls is looking to help out.
They held their monthly craft beer and bingo event Saturday.
The proceeds from this event usually go to a local charity, but the business wanted to do more.
The money raised from Saturday’s event will go toward the Camp Fire Relief Fund in California.
“We of course want to help beer lovers and people from near and far,” Miner Brewing Company Director of sales and marketing Angela Avila said. “It was a good opportunity to help the broader community of the country.”
Avila said they credit this idea to Sierra Nevada who put out a call to breweries all through the country to help out.
Miner Brewing Company is brewing one of Sierra Nevada’s beers and all the money from those sales will also go to that relief fund.
