Sioux Falls law firm raising funds, food for Humane Society

The Swier Law Firm in Sioux Falls is teaming up with the Humane Society to provide food and supplies for animals, and they are asking for your help.

They want you to join them in raising money and supplies to help the Humane Society this holiday season.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for donations. Gently used items are also welcomed at the firm.

Human Society employees say they are extremely grateful for this partnership.

"I can't even imagine what we would be without the generosity of our community,"Kori Baade, executive director of the Humane Society, said. "We have a lot of animals that come in. As the population grows, so does the number of animals that have been mistreated and neglected. So they come to us and do need help, and that's the only way that we can do that is when people like this come forward and help us out."

The deadline for donations at the law firm is Jan. 13, but donations are accepted year-round at the Humane Society.
