UPDATE: No foul play suspected after body found in Big Sioux River

UPDATE, April 14
Police say they do not suspect foul play in connection to the body found in the Big Sioux River in Sioux Falls earlier this month.
A passerby spotted the body just north of 6th Street on April 5 and notified police.
Police spokesperson Sam Clemens said Tuesday investigators have classified the death as as a drowning and ruled it an unattended death.
Clemens identified the victim as a 51-year-old man, but would not release his name. He said the victim's family has been notified.

Authorities are investigating after a body was found along the Big Sioux River in Sioux Falls.
A passerby spotted the body while walking on Sunday afternoon, according to police spokesperson Officer Sam Clemens.
Clemens said the body has not yet been identified. An autopsy to determine the cause of death will be conducted sometime this week. No other details have been released.
The body was located north of 6th Street. A portion of the bike trail was temporarily blocked off while officers investigated Sunday.
