An Aberdeen Central High School graduate has returned to her hometown to bring a story she wrote to life, and the Hub City community has opened their doors for her and a few cameras.
Although Medicaid expansion in the state of South Dakota doesn’t take effect for another month, the window to apply opened on Thursday. A kickoff event was held for advocates and patients to review the benefits for those who qualify.
Wednesday was the 15th Mission of the Midwest Honor Flight, and 83 veterans and their guardians were flown out to Washington, DC for the day to receive a warm welcome home.
