Book lovers in Harrisburg now have a new spot to pick up a book.

Swier Law Firm opened the first of six "Little Free Libraries" in the community on Monday.

Firm founder Scott Swier said they have two goals with this program -- to encourage reading for kids and adults, and to bring the community together.

"'Little Free Libraries' across the world have been something that has taken communities, and maybe neighbors that don't see each other a lot, and has really given that neighborhood a sense of community," he said.

Swier said he hopes to expand the program to different communities across the state.
