Threat against Sioux Falls school deemed 'not credible'

Officials say an alleged threat on social media against a Sioux Falls middle school is not credible.

Sioux Falls School District officials sent a message to families Sunday night saying there is "no known credibility" to a threat against Edison Middle School.

The message said the district has been working with local and national law enforcement agencies to investigate the threat. The district also thanked "alert students and concerned adults" for notifying the school about the threat.
