Thune applauds House proposal on tax reform

U.S. Sen. John Thune issued the following statement Thursday regarding the House Ways and Means Committee’s release of a tax reform bill:
“For the first time in decades, we have an opportunity to fix our broken tax code and provide better economic opportunity for middle-income Americans. Through comprehensive tax reform, we will be able to provide Americans with more jobs, fairer taxes, and bigger paychecks. I commend House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Kevin Brady and the members of his committee for their work on a bill that provides much-needed relief for American families. I look forward to continuing to work with our colleagues in the House to deliver a final pro-growth tax reform package to President Trump’s desk for his signature.”
