Tiny house on display outside of Brookings Children's Museum
A very unique item was on display outside the Children's Museum in Brookings on Saturday.
“We're traveling around in this 200 foot tiny house on wheels to inspire people to live with less,” Stephanie Arne from the Creative Animal Foundation and Tour said.
This 2005 SDSU graduate travels all over the country in this tiny house going to speaking events for the Creative Animal Foundation Tour.
People had a chance to tour the tiny house and learn more about how the live with less movement is helping the environment.
“We have been trying to really increase awareness about animals. If you want to help out animals, the best thing you can do is be aware about what you are buying, ask yourself, ‘Do I really need this? What’s the impact for me of the planet for me to have this?’,” Arne said.
She hopes people who tour the tiny house and see just how easy it is to live with less will be inspired to make some changes in their own lives.
