USF senior guard Trevon Evans has made the most of only two years with the Cougars. The junior college transfer has scored more than 12-hundred points during that time.

"I truly believed God placed me here for a reason. I didn't have any opportunties or offers to play anywhere else. I'm glad I came here. I've met a lot of great people here." says Trevon.

"To score 12 hundred points in two years is pretty incredible. I've never had anyone do that. He's carried us on the offensive end along with Drew Guebert." says head coach Chris Johnson.

Drew Guebert is winding down a historic Coo career, he's the all-time leader in three pointers made and currently stands third in career scoring.

"It feels like yesterday that I walked through these doors for the first time but at the same time I feel like I've been here forever. I mean it's been fun, I wouldn't have imagined myself going anywhere else." says Guebert.

"He's been part of the reason we've really turned the corner in this league over the last four years. A lot of it has to do with him on both ends, he's become a really good defender." says Johnson.

Now Evans and Guebert hope to lead USF to an NSIC Tournament championship and NCAA Tournament berth.

"Coaches say it all the time, your best players have to be your best players. That's probably even more important for us because we lean on those guys so much." says Johnson.

"We know as a team we can't lose anymore. We have to win every game here on out, and that's our main goal right now." says Evans.

"It's definitely a goal since we've had from the beginning. It's been a challenge this season, but we've embraced that challenge." says Guebert.
